Cores for Current Transformers

Due to their high permeabilities and linear hysteresis loops VITROVAC® and VITROPERM® are the ideal alloys for precise current transformers for e. g. electronic Watthour meters and all applications which need a high accurancy.

The high permeability grades are used for transformers with lowest amplitude and phase errors. For applications requiring stability against currents with dc parts, grades with different permeability levels are available. These grades feature a constant phase error which can easily be compensated.
