As every year, a local farmer is lending us his sheep to trim the (truly) vast, tree-lined meadow without using any chemicals, whilst at the same time fertilising the soil and helping to boost botanical biodiversity. The flock of around 20 animals makes short work of the metre-high grass in no time at all and can be cuddled during the lunch break for a bit of a feel-good moment :) Rumours that there are videos of staff catching runaway sheep are just that – rumours!
